Irene Jones
Presenter. Host. Founder. Storyteller.
Irene Jones is a television presenter, actress, podcast host, producer and entrepreneur with a big personality, a love of food and travel, and a natural talent for finding the fun in almost anything.
Irene started performing when she was young, appearing in iconic Australian productions including The Heartbreak Kid, Embassy, Neighbours and Blue Heelers. She has also performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and more recently appeared in the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man.
Best known as a regular presenter on Travel Oz on the Seven Network's 7two and 7plus, Irene has filmed stories around Australia and across the world. Whether she's interviewing someone fascinating, uncovering a brilliant place to eat or landing somewhere completely new, she brings warmth, humour and genuine curiosity to every story.
Today, Irene co-hosts The Open Table with Anna Polyviou and Stephanie Leung - a lively, honest podcast where food, life, laughter and absolutely anything else can end up on the table.
She also produces and stars alongside Anna in The Hungry Passport, a new food-and-travel series following the Hungry Girlz as they eat their way around the world, meet colourful characters and prove that the best travel stories rarely go according to plan.
